Is there a difference in time between a Church Ceremony and a more Casual setting?

Most experts that we talked with about this, said that usually, a Catholic wedding can take up to an hour if a mass is included. These ceremonies aren’t guests’ favorites, for obvious reason. Couples can vie for a quicker ceremony at the church called, the “Rite of Marriage,” which lasts 30 to 45 minutes and doesn’t include a mass.

Casual wedding ceremonies last between 15 and 25 minutes. This allows enough time for the Justice of the Peace to say hello to the wedding guests, and time for a few loved ones to do a few readings. After that, the couple will recite their wedding vows, and then exchange their rights. Finally, they are pronounced, “Man and Wife!”

How long is wedding ceremony

If you think about the last wedding you went to, if the ceremony was short, you probably appreciated it. Most people like it to be quick so they can move on to the open bar, and ultimately, the reception.

So what’s the shortest wedding ceremony one can have and still be legally married?

I guess as long as you whip through the vows, I do’s and kiss within a minute. I don’t see why that wouldn’t count.
